Three interceptor boats of Coast Guard launched at Surat

Indian coast guard’s three interceptor boats were launched in sea today in presence of Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat Mr. Sudip Kumar Nanda.
The boats ICGS C-411, C-412 and C-413 are made by Surat based L&T. Each boat has average 1.4 MTR capacity and 27 MTRS speed. The boat can have vigil over 500 nautical mile distance. The boats are equipped with state-of-the-art equipments and weapons. L&T is going to deliver two boats in every quarter. The total number of boats to be supplied by L&T is 54. Entire project will be completed by year 2020.
