In an interview with Hindi news channel Aaj Tak, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said that the central government has passed the Detail Project Report(DPR) of Ahmedabad Metro rail project. She said the project will be cleared by union cabinet soon. It should be mentioned that Shri Modi had cleared Nagpur Metro train project a day before he visited Nagpur recently.
According to Anandiben, Shri Modi will come to Gujarat for the first time after becoming Prime Minister on 16 September. Anandiben said BJP workers will give him grand reception.
She said, it will be Modi’s birthday on next day(17 September) when China’s President is also arriving in Gujarat. This is a big thing for Gujarat and he too will be given grand reception.
Anandiben in this interview refused to believe that Gujarat is without Narendra Modi at present. She said the present government in state is building structure over foundations laid by Narendrabhai. She said Narendrabhai knows problems of Gujarat. He granted permission to Narmada dam gates in few days. He knows about Gujarat’s Metro train project.
