Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation has launched online tax payment service in tie-up with HDFC bank. A citizen may log in to the website of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation to pay property tax through debit/credit care or net banking facility. Payment for bills of both carpet area type and old type will be accepted online without paying any extra money to BMC or bank. While HDFC will bear transaction charge, the payer will get online receipt of payment of tax.
