Narendra Modi arrives at Fiji capital

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the Fiji capital Tuesday on the final leg of his three-nation tour.
Modi touched down at the Nausori International Airport.
The first Indian prime minister to visit Fiji in 33 years since late prime minister Indira Gandhi was here in 1981, Modi will be accorded a traditional welcome in a ceremony at Albert Park in Suva Wednesday.
He will also address the Fiji parliament during his day-long visit.
Modi and Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama are expected to make some remarks to the media after inking of some agreements. Modi will later address a forum with Pacific Island leaders in the afternoon.
While Modi is visiting Fiji Nov 19 (Fiji time), Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit is scheduled Nov 21.
