Pravasi Bharatiya Divas: Gujarat CM to visit Delhi on Monday

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel will be visiting Delhi on Monday, December 22 to attend the media interaction on Pravasi Bharatiya Divas organized by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The progamme is going to be chaired by union foreign minister smt Sushma Swaraj.
It should be noted that for the first time, Gujarat has become host for Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. In that context, Gujarat Chief Minister has been invited to join Sushma Swaraj for media interaction.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas functions for year 2015 are going to be held in Gandhinagar – the capital town of Gujarat on 7-8-9 January. It is going to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 8th January. Valedictory session and conferment of Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards will take place on 9th January in presence of President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015 will mark 100th year of Mahatma Gandhi’s home-coming from South Africa.
