Ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2015, the Gujarat Police has purchased 225 Bolero white jeep cars. Many of these vehicles will be used for the Vibrant summit, after which they will be sent to districts. About 225 large vehicles will be used to transport the police force. Gujarat police has also purchased 350 bikes, 23 of which are to be distributed to Gandhinagar police. Police now also posses some Harely Davidson super bikes – each pricing Rs. 7-15 lakh in its possession. They will be used for escorting and piloting of VIP convoys.
