Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said he has been receiving over 500 complaints every hour from people across the state and responsibility of concerned officers have been fixed to redress them in a time-bound manner.
“I am visiting all districts and have been receiving more than 500 complaints from people every hour. These include long-pending complaints as well as new ones,” Khattar said today in Sonipat.
“The grievances redress system has been revamped and responsibility of officers fixed to redress them in a time-bound manner. If the grievance of a person cannot be addressed, the officer should call the complainants and explain the reasons”, the CM said in a release here.
On December 25, Haryana government had announced the launch of ‘CM Window’, aiming to redress grievances of people in a time-bound manner.
‘CM Window’ was inaugurated at all district headquarters so that grievances of the people directly reach the government for redress and the public do not have to rush to Chandigarh, for it.
On the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway, Khattar said the work on this project would start soon. “The hindrances coming in the way of construction of the KMP Expressway are being removed and work on the project will start soon,” he said.
The 136-km Kundli Manesar Palwal (KMP) Expressway was running behind schedule. The project, started in 2006, was to be commissioned on July 29, 2009.
