Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel is likely to perform ground breaking for Maruti Suzuki car manufacturing plant at Hansalpur in Gujarat this month. Rs. 4,000 crore plant will roll out 2.50 lakh cars in a year once its construction work is completed.

In his recent visit to Gujarat, Suzuki Motors Corporation Chairman Osamu Suzuki has announced that Hansalpur plant would become operational by Mid-2017.

In recently concluded Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2015 in Gandhinagar, Maruti Suzuki had in its stall showcased progress of Hansalpur site.
