Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today reiterated her resolve to set up world-class Kidney Transplant University and Public Health University in the state with people’s cooperation, public support and best wishes of great persons.

Speaking at preacher Mararibapu’s Ramkatha at the Sabarmati Riverfront here with a view to raise Rs.100-crore fund for the university, she pointed out that Gujarat was never short of funds for noble purposes like setting up the university for training surgeons, operation and research in kidney transplantation, particularly poor and destitute patients.

Mrs. Patel lauded the resolve of Moraribapu for raising funds. She exuded confidence that donations might exceed the target.

She also lauded the resolve of Dr. H.L. Trivedi’s exemplary contribution in the construction of the Kidney Transplantation University. He could have well immigrated abroad and earn but decided to devote his life in the cure of the patients.
