GSFC to supply liquid bio-fertiliser to farmers in Maharashtra

The city-based Gujarat State Fertiliser Company would be supplying its new product, the liquid bio-fertiliser under the brandname `Sardar’, to Maharashtra.
GSFC chairman and managing director S K Nanda said the production of the bio-fertilizer started in November.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a seminar on `Gatishilta’, organised by the Information Department of the Gujarat government here.
The bio-fertiliser has been developed by Anand Agricultural University.
Nanda also said that GSFC had started commercial production of `Neem coated urea, which reduces water pollution and increases efficiency of the fertiliser.
