Crime Branch arrests Nazir Vora from Juhapura

Ahmedabad Police Crime Branch on Thursday arrested Nazir Vora from Juhapura. Vora is member of Abdul Wahab gang. He has been arrested in past for murder, kidnapping, trespassing, rioting, threats and fighting – in total 26 offenses. He has been in prison too for crime. He has been in jail under PASA twice.
According to police, on 14 April, Danilimda based construction businessman Mohammad Faruq Zakaria was constructing a building in the land owned by him when three persons including Banti Sharma who works as security man, a contractor and laborers were threatened by Alam Khan’s brother in law Altaf Khan and another person(25) that this construction should be stopped and it should not be continued without permission of Alam Khan. If they continue the work, the contractor and owner would be killed. In response to this, Faruq Jakaria had filed complaint in Sarkhej Police station. After FIR when he was returning to his home with Fazal Mehbub Sheikh, Sirazbhai Saiyad and Zakirbhai in Duster car, Alam Khan and Altaf Khan chased them on two wheeler and fired rounds. Fazal Mehboob Sheikh had filed complaint in this regard in Sarkhej police station.
In connection with this, city police crime branch had started efforts to arrest Alam Khan. Eventually Alam Khan, his brother Shahnawaz and brother in low Altaf Khan and Saif Ali were arrested. It was found that key player in this act of crime was Nazir Vora. As police came to know that Nazir was present during Ami Hamza residence on Sonal cinema road, he was arrested.
