Donate Life sanstha promotes organ donation in Surat (video)

A programme aimed at creating awareness regarding organ donation was organized in Surat. The event was organized on the occasion of ‘World Organ Donation Day’ to felicitate people who have donated organs of their deceased relatives to needy persons. Donate Life sanstha director Nilesh Mandelwala said the programme has been well received by the people of Surat. We are organising this programme from 2006 and we have donated a total of 123 kidneys, 37 livers, 3 pancreas and 96 eyes and given life to 259 people. And not only people from Gujarat have been benefitted from this scheme, our programme has helped human lives from 12 states.
