Two union ministers invited to open a memorial in Kutch this month

Union defense minister and HRD minister are likely to pay visit to Kutch district of Gujarat on August 27 to dedicate a memorial.
300 women of Madhapar village near Bhuj in Kutch district of Gujarat had repaired runway of Bhuj airport during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
To mark their bravery Rs 50 lakh Virangana Circle is under construction at Madhapar-Navavas.
To dedicate this memorial to the nation, defense minister Manohar Parikar and Human Resource Development(HRD) minister Smriti Irani are likely to come to Bhuj on August 27. Both ministers were visited by organizers of the function in Delhi in this connection. The organizers also paid visit to Prime Minister shri Narendra Modi and requested him to address the function through video conference.
The event to dedicate this memorial will also include army band performance, exhibition of weapons and air show.
