After Gujarat Gas, now Adani Gas lowers CNG/PNG prices

A day after the decrease in CNG and PNG by the government run Gujarat Gas Limited, private sector Adani Gas has also followed suit and today announced a reduction in prices by Rs. 2.19 per kg and Rs 1.23 per standard cubic meter (SCM) with effect from October 2.

Official source of Adani Gas, which has about 200,000 households PNG consumers and approximately 150,000 CNG users in Ahmedabad and Vadodara today said that retail sales price of CNG in Ahmedabad & Vadodara is revised from Rs.47.86 /Kg to Rs. 45.67 / Kg (inclusive of Excise Duty and VAT) with effect from Oct 2, 2015.

Price of PNG (Domestic) is also revised from Rs.627.95 / MMBtu (approx. Rs. 23.92 / SCM) to Rs.595.60 / MMBtu (Rs. 22.69 / SCM) excluding VAT.

The Gujarat Gas Limited has reduced the prices of CNG by Rs 1.35 per kg and PNG by 86 paise per SCM with effect from today.

The GGL has as many as 10.25 lakh domestic PNG consumers and three lakh CNG users.
