Narmada river bridge in Bharuch: soil testing on, construction work to be launched next week

Ground breaking for a new bridge connecting Bharuch to Ankleshwar in central Gujarat over river Narmada will take place on December 19.
Rs 325 crore bridge, once ready will be an alternative to existing Golden bridge. It will give relief to commuters traveling between Bharuch and Ankleshwar and also to those who travel between Vadodara and Surat.
Soil testing for the bridge construction has already started by Ranjit Buildcon, a firm that has been given contract for construction by the state government.
