Bypoll of Choryasi assembly seat in Gujarat on January 21

Bypoll to Choryasi assembly seat in Gujarat, which fell vacant after the death of its MLA, will be held on January 21 next year.
The bypoll was necessitated following the demise of sitting BJP MLA Rajendra Patel on August 5.
The notification for the election will be issued on December 28 and the polling will be held on January 21, according to a statement issued by Election Commission here.
Counting of votes will take place on January 24.
