Patidar community agitators had torched four mobile towers in Patel dominated Varachha area of Surat last Sunday. Even Fire Brigade staff was attacked with stones by Patels when it reached to control the fire.

Surat Police has arrested seven in this case – all from Patel community. While five were arrested earlier, two brothers from Shraddha residency – Jigar Jivrajbhai Kalathia and Divyang Jivrajbhai Kalathia were arrested yesterday.
