CM announces Rs 940 crore development works in tribal Chhota Udepur

Gujarat Chief Minister today announced Rs 940 crore development works on Gujarat state foundation day in tribal Chhota Udepur district of central Gujarat.
The Chief Minister announced Rs 893 crore Hafeshwar basin oriented water supply scheme to supply Narmada river water to 58 villages and 1 town of Chhota Udepur district. This announcement was overwhelmingly welcomed by local people present in the function.
She also announced construction of Rs 33 crore bridge on river Oarsang between Tejgadh and Raysingpura. This bridge once constructed will serve 27,000 rural people across 12 villages. Construction of this proposed bridge will kick off in the month of June this year.
Rs 6 crore major check dam will be built over river Orsang for drinking water supply to Chhota Udepur town.
Rs 78.40 lakh repair work will be started for left side main canal of Sukhi water supply scheme.
Rs 3 crore development works will be executed for modernization of small irrigation schemes in district.
Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyayal for education of tribal girls will be opened in Harpalpura of Chhota Udepur district at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore.
The State government will also start a veterinary polyclinic in Chhota Udepur.
