CBI nabs officer who stole Teesta Setalvad file

According to a report in the Times of India, the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) has booked a home ministry undersecretary, who was found in illegal possession of the file pertaining to activist Teesta Setalvad’s NGO Sabrang Trust, under the prevention of corruption act. The home of the officer in question was raided and he was also found in possession of possibly illegal cash and other incriminating documents pertaining to Ministry of Home Affairs and Information & Broadcasting.
