The Border Security Force (BSF) has nabbed 18 Pakistani nationals with two boats from the Koteshwar creek in Kutch district of Gujarat.
The 18 Pakistanis (all seemingly fishermen) had entered the Indian waters late last night with two boats. They were nabbed by a patrol team of the BSF, an official of the paramilitary outfit said today.
‘The boats were brought to the coast and during the initial interrogation those nabbed have claimed to be fishermen who had entered Indian waters in search of fishes and prawns. Four of those caught are minor,’ he added.
Around 90 liters of diesel and over 300 kg fish have also been recovered from them. No suspicious item has been found from the boats. They would be handed over to the police for further action,’ he said.
