Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not here on the occasion of Rath Yatra physically, but he was very much here in different ways. There were some people wearing Modi’s masks. There were his photographs on banners and he was very much in minds of people. When he was Chief Minister, Narendrabhai used to perform Pahind ceremony at Rath Yatra. In fact he was the Chief Minister who performed Pahind ceremony for highest number of time, obviously as he was the Chief Minister of this state for longest time. Ever since he has become Prime Minister, he sends gifts for Lord Jagannath from Delhi.
