The latest flyover in Surat is ready to open this week

Surat: The latest flyover in city of Surat is ready and likely to be inaugurated this week.
The flyover is located on city’s Udhna – Magdalla road near Anuvrat junction. It has been constructed under Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) project. Its one end begins at Breadliner circle on Udhna – Magdalla road. The other end is located near Vir Narmad South Gujarat University after crossin Anuvrat Dwar junction and Canal junction.
The bridge has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 60 crore. It will relieve traffic on five roads that meet at Anuvrat Dwar junction. The new flover is 1.5 km long. It is mainly constructed through precast gurder. It is one of three flyover on 7.5 km long Kharvarnagar – VR Mall stretch.
There are two BRTS routes that meet at this junction, and therefore this location is poised to become a major BRTS junction.
Construction of this flyover took two years time.
