Second trial of Talgo train through Gujarat completes, 3 hours saved on Delhi-Mumbai route

Mumbai: The second train of Spanish Talgo train covered distance between Delhi-Mumbai in 12.55 hours compared to 15.50 hours time Rajdhani Express takes to cover same distance according to Western Railway. Talgo arrived at Mumbai Central at 3.40 am today. It was operated at 130 km per hour speedh in second trial. Third trial wiwll take place at the speed of 140 km per hour on 9th August. The lats trial will take place on 12th August at 150 km per hour speed.
Each of Talgo trial runs passes through Gujarat with stopagges at Vadodara and Surat. These two are the places in Gujarat that are going to benefit from regular operations of Talgo whenever they take place. Journey to and from Mumbai and Delhi will be speedier for Vadodara and Surat passengers.
