Gujarat cabinet takes decisions for land allotment to infra projects, better air connectivity to 11 small airports

Gandhinagar: A meeting of Gujarat cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today took several important decisions details of which are presented below:
1. The cabinet approved Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Centre for Regional Connectivity Scheme for Unserved/Underserved Airports in order to benefit 11 small airports and towns which are Bhavnagar, Porbandar, Bhuj, Keshod, Kandla, Deesa, Amreli, Mahesana, Mandvi, Jamangar and Surat in order to provide better air connectivity.
2. Allotment of 1,000 square meter government land at Kulla in Jamnagar taluka/district for construction of head works by Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
3. 4,890 square meter government land allotment to GETCO for construction of 66 ks substation at Kotharia in Rajkot taluka.
4. 61 ha government land allotment to GWIL to create storage/filtration plant/pumping station etc facilities at Meghvadar in Valbhipur taluka.
