Massive preparations for September 8 Patidar community function of BJP in Surat

Surat: Guardian minister for Surat district Jayesh Radadia, MoS in centre Mansukh Mandavia, MLA Yogesh Patel and as many as 20 other BJP leaders who come from Patidar community are camping in Surat to make September 8th ‘Rajasvi Sanman Samaroh’ successful.
Number of meetings and public contact programmes are going on in targetted areas of Surat in connection with the upcoming function which is going to be attended by party’s national president Amit Shah, chief minister Vijay Rupani, new state BJP president Jitubhai Vaghani among others.
The programme has been organized by Patidar Sanman Samiti. Earlier estimate of presence was one lakh, but the latest target is three lakh.
In a press conference held in Surat by party general secretary Bharatsinh Parmar, Surat BJP incharge Radadia and state BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya, it was announced that new chief minister, state part president, national party president, all Patidar ministers and MLAs of BJP will be felicitated in this function.
Radadia in this press conference said that Patidar community has achieved development in BJP rule only and they will continue to witness development through by aligning with BJP.
The programme has been organized at PP Savani educational complex in Abrama area. Ahead of the programme, a committee of BJP leaders joined by others visited Patidar community populated areas and held meetings. One such meeting in Varachha area was participated by presidents of over 700 residential societies. A meeting held at Mitul farm involving those from Junagadh and Gir Somnath districts had presence of 15,000 persons. It was organized by community leader Dilip Lakhpati in presence of Shankar Chaudhary, Radadia, CR Patil, Harsh Sanghvi, Kumar Kanani, Zankhana Patel among others. Those attending thie meeting were wearing saffron caps. It was opined in this meeting that like other district oriented organizations, Gir-Somnath and Junagadh district natives organization should also be strong in Surat. Golakiya parivar gathering was held at Gajibavala compound and had attracted large presence. A meeting of Shahpur-Monpur mitra mandal from Valbhipur taluka was held at Escon plaza. One-by-one taluka-district wise meetings are taking place and getting good response.
Councillors of Congress party who had won some seats in Patidars populated areas last year riding on Patidar quota stir in Surat Municipal Corporation election are also holding meetings to disturb the BJP function. One such meeting was held in Abrama area by local Congress Councillor Devraj Gopani who represents ward number 2. In this function Patidar community members were provoked against BJP function.
Meanwhile Gujarat BJP president, himself a Patidar was on a sudden visit to Surat to inquire about health of his ailing friend. He in reply to media’s query said if Hardik wants to do politics that he should leave misleading the community members and come out in open.
