Doctor held in Ahmedabad for raping a Dengue patient girl is from Pakistan

Gandhinagar:A doctor who has been arrested by police for raping a dengue patient girl in ICU at Apollo hospital on Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar road is from Pakistan.
Police when probed got the detail that Dr Ramesh Bhuralal Chauhan is originally from Sindh province of Pakistan. According to Adalaj police station inspector KK Pandya, Dr Ramesh Chauhan arrived in Ahmedabad in year 2014 on work residential permit. He has MBBS degree from Liyakat University in Pakistan. Police is probing into validity of Chauhan’s degree and his stay in Kubernagar area in Ahmedabad.
Dr Chauhan and another accused sweeper Chandu alias Chandrakant Govind Vankar are presently on remand.
