Another Pakistani boat with at least 8 aboard nabbed near Gujarat coast
October 05, 2016
Bhuj: Amid the heightened security along Gujarat coast post the surgical strikes on the terror camps in PoK, the Border Security Force (BSF) today nabbed a Pakistani boat in Sircreek area adjoining Kutch district close to Pakistan border with 9 people on board.
Earlier the coast-guard had on October 2 also seized one such boat with an equal number of Pakistani nationals off Porbandar coast.
A senior BSF official today said that the boat with 8 to 9 persons on board was caught by our patrol team in the morning close to Sircreek area.
‘Interrogation teams have been sent to inquire about them in depth. So far we have seized only fishes and some fishing equipment from the boat but the possibility of these people spying for Pakistan can’t be ruled out,’ he said.
The matter was under investigation.
