Gujarat govt welcomes union budget

Welcoming the announcements in union budget presented today by Finance minister Arun Jaitley, Gujarat deputy chief minister Nitin Patel said the decision to offer low interest loan of upto Rs 10 lakh to farmers will benefit lakhs and crores farmers of Gujarat. He said Gujarat will get central grant for SAUNI and Narmada projects under irrigation related allocation by centre. Patel said LNG supply for industrial houses in Gujarat attracts 5% custom duty which has been reduced to 2.5% in the budget presented today. Nitin Patel further said that AIIMS for Gujarat announced today in budget will have 1,000 beds.
