Gujarat CM launches Racecourse road beautification, LED conversion of streetlights project in Rajkot

Rajkot: Chief Minister Rupani today in his home-town Rajkot dedicated Rs 20.22 lakh beautification works on Racecourse road stretch. He also launched the project to convert 53,500 street lights of Rajkot into LED. Rupani on this occasion spoke about recruitment on 66,000 posts by state government this year, of which 30,000 posts are already filled with youths, he pointed out. He also spoke about SAUNI project progress. He said the Rajkot Municipal Corporation in cooperation with the state government will build 9,000 new affordable housing units. City Mayor on this occasion named new townships after Maharshi Arvind, Maharshi Dayanand and Shyamji Krushna Verma.
