New Humsafar train launched; more connectivity to 8 stations in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: With the start of Humsafar train connecting Ganganagar in Rajasthan and Trichirapalli i South India, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mahesana and Palanpur stations in Gujarat have got another connectivity in north-south directions.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu yesterday launched this Humsafar train through video conference. The train will regularly run from 2nd March from Trichy on weekly basis. The train will leave Trichy at 11.30 pm every Thursday and reach ShriGanganagar at 3.15 pm on Sunday. The train will run regularly on weekly basis from ShriGangnaar from Tuesday, 7 March at 12.25 am. It will reach Vasai road on Thursday at 1.30 pm.
The train will have AC 3 tire and pentry car coaches.
