Ahmedabad: Two more fake call-centers being used to dupe US citizens were busted by police in Ambawadi area of Ahmedabad city last night and 15 people including two women were nabbed in this connection.

PI of Gujarat University police station M M Jadeja today said that based on a tip off the raids were conducted on the two call centers being run from the 3 rd and 9 th floor of the President house building situated near CN Vidyalaya.

Computers, magic jacks, mobile phones etc worth over four lakh have been recovered from there. Those arrested were associated with the call centers from where fraudulent calls were made to US citizens in the name of tax officials and other authorities to extort money from them.

Further investigations were on.
