PM Narendra Modi likely to visit Rajkot on June 22

Rajkot: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit the city of Rajkot to launch number of development projects. Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC) has finalized around Rs 340 crore projects for inauguration and ground breaking. According to city Mayor Dr. Jaiman Upadhyay the Prime Minister will be in Rajkot on June 22 to perform bhoomi pujan for new airport which is going to come up at Hirasar near Rajkot. The Prime Minister will also release Narmada water in Aaji dam under SAUNI project. It should be noted here that Aaji dam is main source of water for Rajkot city. Increase of Nyari dam height and installation of new gate there at a cost of Rs 43 crore, Rs 25 crore express feeder line which links the dams, inauguration of 100 housing units of Bharatnagar etc are some of the projects listed.
