Gandhinagar: In a major jolt to opposition Congress party in Gujarat, Thasra MLA Ramsinh Parmar has resigned from the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) today. Parmar handed over his resignation to Speaker Ramanlal Vora.
Parmar in reply to questioned asked by media persons soon after giving resignation said, “Voters in my constituency who elect me for last 22 years complained that their works were not done. They believed this was because of adverse party government in power in the State. I don’t find any future of Congress due to factionalism there. I am giving my resignation following my inner voice. I have been a minister, I have no aspiration to become minister. Today I have just submitted my resignation. I will decide future actions later.”
