Morbi: District headquarters Morbi has got skill training centre, inauguration of which took place on Thursday.

According to Kutch MP Vinod Chavda the central government has approved 17 skill training centres, Morbi is one of locations chosen for this initiative.

Standard 5 to 10 students will receive training at this centre. The government will bear Rs 5-7 lakh/month cost of running this centre.

Among 100 courses offered at this centre are sewing machine operator, warehouse packaging, data entry operator etc.

In total 700 students will be trained in this centre.
