Ahmedabad: Congress has announced the names of 17 candidates for the second phase of Gujarat assembly polls 2017. Two seats namely Morvahadaf and Vaghodia are allotted to Chhotu Vasava led Bharatiya Tribal Party. In rest 15 seats, Congress has fielded Alpesh Thakor from Radhanpur, Raghu Desai from Chanasma, CJ Chavda from Gandhinagar North, Himmatsinh Patel from Bapunagar, Imran Khedawala from Majalpur-Khadia among others. Congress has also changed its candidate on Manjalpur seat of Vadodara. Earlier declared candidate Purvesh is replaced with Chirag Zaveri.
