Gandhinagar: Congress had given tickets to six candidates suggested by Thakor Sena leader Alpesh Thakor. Of them four are victorious while two have lost the election.

Alpesh had contested from Radhanpur seat as Congress candidate where he has been victorious against rival BJP candidate.

Bechraji candiate of Congress Bharat Thakor, selected by Alpesh has also won against former MoS Home Rajni Patel.

Chanduji Thakor, Congress candidate from Sidhpur has been victorious against former BJP minister Jaynarayan Vyas.

Another Congress candidate selected by Alpesh, Dhavalsinh Zala has won Bayad seat against BJP’s Adesinh Chauhan.

Congress candidates selected by Alpesh Thakor have lost election on Gandhinagar South and Kankrej seats.
