After vandalizing 2 buses in Gandhinagar, Anti Padmavat protesters burn down two ST buses in Mahesana

In yet another incident of targeting ST buses, two such buses were torched by a group of protesters who were opposing film Padmavat and lifting of ban on it by the Apex court, near Meu village on Mahesana-Gojhariya state highway under Langhnaj police station of Mahesana district in Gujarat this evening.
Police said that both the buses were burnt down completely.
One of the bus belonged to Jhaod Depot and was going there from Mahesana while the other one of Deodar depot was going to Deodar from Gandhinagar.
A group of protestors from a Rajput outfit brought down all the passengers and torched the two buses. They were almost completely burnt down by the time fire brigade reached the spot after getting a call at around seven pm this evening.
Earlier in the day such protesters had vandalized two more such buses in Kalol Taluka area of Gandhinagar district. They had also tired to torch them but only one bus was partially damaged owing to fire.
