Karni Sena Gujarat chief warns to resign if Padmaavat protesters continue to targeting public property
January 21, 2018
Ahmedabad:
The Gujarat unit president of Rajput Karni Sena Raj Sekhawat today appealed all the members of his outfit and others supporting their protest to film Padmawat to not to involve in violent protests and not to damage government property and buses etc.
He also said that he would resign from his post if the hooliganism in the name of protest did not stop immediately.
Talking to newsmen Sekhawat said that it was beyond comprehension as to why violent protest was taking place when the government was with us and the theater association has also agreed to not to show the movie.
‘I am extremely pained to see the damage to ST buses and arson in the name of protest. It should be stopped immediately. This is my appeal to all our members and also the various Hindu outfits which were supporting our demand,’ he said.
