Won’t allow creation of atmosphere of fear in Gujarat:In-charge DGP to anti-Padmawat protesters

Even as the anti-Padmawat protest continued in various parts of Gujarat on the third consecutive day today, In-Charge DGP of Gujarat Pramod Kumar today warned the protesters of strict legal action and said that he won’t allow the atmosphere of fear to be created in the state.
Talking to newsmen here Kumar said that strict action would be initiated against those trying to disrupt the peace in the state.
‘We have registered cases in this regard which would be followed by action,’ he said.
‘There was no need of protest or road blockades or arson when the theater association has said that they won’t show the movie,’ he said.
He said that the miscreants involved in violent protests would be nabbed on the basis of CCTV footage and media footage.
To a query he said that the suspension of ST buses on several routes won’t be lifted unless the situation normalized completely.
