Padmaavat row: Key accused of Ahmedabad violence case held, 3 cops suspended

Ahmedabad: Sanand rural Special Operation Group and Local Crime Branch nabbed the key accused of Padmaavat violence case in Ahmedabad. Rajendrasinh Vaghela was nabbed today by police and he is likely to be produced in court tomorrow. Vaghela had organized the candle march in Ahmedabad after which the participants in march had gone on rampage in Vastrapur, Drive-In, SG Highway areas.
In another development, three police men of Satellite police station of city are suspended by Sector -1 Joint Police Commissioner KLN Rao who is supervising the investigation in Padmaavat violence case. The suspended cops had allowed one accused to go possibly due to caste brotherhood. Their this act of indiscipline was caught in CCTV camera footage. The suspended detection staff cops are Lalsinh, Dharmendrasinh and Yogendrasinh while an accused they had allowed to go free was Rajbha. Rajbha was brought to police station but was missing later.
