Minister Parmar orders probe in to incident of self immolation bid by a man in Patan collector office

Gandhinagar/Patan:
Gujarat Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Ishwar Parmar today ordered an inquiry in to the incident of attempt of self immolation by a man in collectorate of Patan district allegedly owing to inordinate delay in mutation of a land document.
Bhanu Vankar a resident of Dudkha village under Sami taluka of the district poured kerosene over him and tried self immolation. The fire was quickly doused and he was admitted to hospital.
One of his relative said that he was running from pillar to post for mutation of the document of a piece of land for last six years. He was fed up of the administrative red tapism.
The minister has ordered a probe in to the whole matter.
