Amreli:

A forest guard was injured by a lioness in Chachai round of Paniya range of Gir forests in Amreli district of Gujarat.

DCF Amreli Shakira Begum today said that B D Khambala, forest gurad of Karkadi beat one, was attacked by the lioness yesterday when he was on a routine patrol.

‘It was an accidental attack. The forest guard with with injury in hand and waist was initially admitted to a hospital in Dhari but was later sent to Junagadh,’ She added.
