Former Mahesana MP Jivabhai Patel leaves Congress

Mahesana: Congress leader and former Lok Sabha member Jivabhai Patel has given his resignation from party. Jivabhai, a rich person from Surat had won Mahesana Lok Sabha seat in year 2004 Lok Sabha general election against BJP. Jivabhai also contest Lok Sabha election from same seat as Congress candidate in year 2009 and 2012 but lost. Lastly he had contested Mahesana assembly seat as Congress candidate against BJP candidate Nitinbhai Patel who is currently deputy chief minister of Gujarat.
