Security cover of dismissed IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt withdrawn as per committee review of threat perception

Even as dismissed IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt has written a letter to CM Vijay Rupani on withdrawal of his security cover, the MoS Home Pradipsinh Jadeja today said that the decision has been taken by a committee meant for time to time review of security given to various persons.
Talking to newsmen the minister said,’ there is a committee of the state government which reviews the security given to various persons. It takes a decision about whether the security should be continued or not. There are two kinds of security and it is given based on the recommendation.’
He said that such decisions are taken by the committee of officials base on current threat perception.
