Shankersinh Vaghela mulling to join NCP

Gandhinagar: Former Chief Minister of Gujarat Shankersinh Vaghela who worked in both main political parties BJP and Congress formerly and also set up his own political party briefly in late 1990s, is now mulling to join Sharad Pawar led Nationalist Congress Party(NCP). If it happens, Shankersinh will be the State NCP president of Gujarat Shankersinh had called a meeting of supporers on August 30th but due to ongoing monsoon, the meeting has been postponed to 11th of 12th September. In this meeting, Vaghela is likely to take opinion of his supporters and later announce his decision to join NCP to have enough time to prepare for general elections of Lok Sabha next year.
