Probe ordered in alleged ragging/beating up incident of H L commerce college student

Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad:
Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama has ordered an inquiry in to the alleged incident of ragging/beating up in prestigious H L college of commerce in Ahmedabad following which the victim student had attempted suicide.
Chudasama told newsmen today that such incidents could not be tolerated. The whole incident would be investigated and the culprits would be booked and strict action would be taken against them.
Notably the victim a first year B Com student and a native of Rajula in Amreli district had consumed a poisonous liquid in the bathroom of his hostel yesterday and has been admitted in the AMC run V S hospital here. He had alleged that he was ragged/ tortured publicly and even was beaten up. A case in this connection against four Kshitij Rabari, Jay Bharwad, Jayesh Rabari and Ajmal Rabari has already been lodged in Navrangpura police station.
