PM addresses Hari Krishna Skill India Incentive Ceremony at Surat via video

Surat: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today addressed Hari Krishna Skill India Incentive Ceremony function held at Surat live via video. In this function, 600 employees of major diamond firm Hari Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd. were given cars as Diwali bonus. Employees came on stage with family members and received keys of cars. Savjibhai Dholakiya, owner of Hari Krishna Exports presented car keys to staff members. Prime Minister himself presented car keys to two handicapped women staffers and two young staffers of company in Delhi.
Biggest Diwali of Gujarat would be on October 31 when sky-touching statue of Sardar Patel would be dedicated to nation:PM Modi
Surat:PM Narendra Modi today said that the real and biggest Diwali in Gujarat would be on October 31 when the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel would be dedicated to the nation.
During the video conference address to the employees of a diamond company today, Modi said that he was coming to Gujarat on October 31 to dedicate the sky-touching statue of Sardar Patel.
‘In a way the biggest Diwali of Gujarat would be on that day when the head of every Gujarati would rise in pride,’ he said.
He also appealed each one to find time to visit the statue of unity site with family.
During his address to the employees of Hare Krishna Exports Ltd, a Diamond manufacturing and exporting company with manufacturing units at Surat in Gujarat, that distributed 600 cars to its as many employees as annual Diwali bonus, Modi praised it as a good attempt for skill development.
On the occasion he also elaborated about various labour centered schemes of his government.
Owner of the company with its sales head-office in Mumbai, Savji Dhanji Dholakia today said that this was part of the company’s policy to appreciate the contribution of employees.
He said that this year around 1500 employees have been selected for bonus of whom 600 were given cars. Four of these including a divyang woman received the keys of cars from PM Modi physically in Delhi.
Half of the cars are Maruti Suzuki’s Kwid model while the other half ie 300 are Saleno.
The remaining 900 employees got a sum as Fixed Deposit as bonus.
He said that in last few years his company has distributed cars as bonus to around 1800 employees, houses to 300 to 400 and jewelry to another 500 to 600.
