Gandhinagar: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of four High Court Chief Justices, Justices MR Shah, Ajay Rastogi, Hemant Gupta and R Subhash Reddy to the Supreme Court.

Among them Justice MR Shah is from Gujarat. He is presently the Chief Justice of Patna High Court. He was appointed an additional judge of the Gujarat High Court in March 2004. In August this year, he was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.

Justice R Subhash Reddy is Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court since February 2016.
