Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said the final notification of GDCR has been approved today.

The new decisions include provision for increase of building hight in order to give more open space on the ground in urban areas such as Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari etc.

With this, the government has also given approval to five town planning(TP) schemes. Among draft schemes approved are TP scheme 303(Khoraj), 409/B(Zundal), 404/A(Sanathal), and 432(Aslali). The government has also approved preliminary scheme of TP scheme 23(Vejalpur).
