Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has approved 11 TP(Town Planning) schemes including 8 draft TPs of Ahmedabad city. With this the government has approved more than 28 draft TP schemes in last 9 months making a path of development clear in around 3,000 hectares area.

The 8 TP schemes approved today will make a way for development of more than 1000 hectares. The area will witness Rs 1450 crore works. 18 meter or even wider roads are planned in these TP schemes in 60 km length. 180 hectares land will be available for roads, 195 hectares for gardens, open space, social infrastructure facilities etc.

11 schemes approved today include ADA draft TP scheme 10/B Kaneti, 419 Aslali, 415 Kathwada, 517 Kanbha-Kunjad, 91 Sanathal-Telav, 8 Dhanaj-Palsana-Saeej, 10 Borisana-Kalol-Ola-Pratappura, 401/A Bakrol-Badrabad-Kamod, Preliminary TP scheme 84/B Makarba, Rajkot final scheme 17(Munjka) and GUDA TP scheme 8(Sargasan).
